Hello, Just a quick note of appreciation for the gig you done at the plough dipton on 21st Aug. I had a brilliant night even though I was on the orange and sodas ha-ha just shows you that you don't need alcohol to enjoy yourself, I don't know how you’s do it you were brilliant, I sang through most of the songs and I could hardly speak the next morning, THANK YOU for a great night, it was my first time seeing you’s and defiantly not the last , Cheers, good luck for the future
Bill Matthews

Saw the Acoustic Beatles last Friday night in Whitby - they made our stay! Brilliant voices and guitar playing what a great gig - shame the Landlord pulled the plug - reckon they could have played all night! Thanks for a brilliant night.
Sue & Chris Lincolnshire.

Hiya Phil / Brian What a rockin' night. If only the landlord had joined in and closed the door at the end of the night so you could carry on!! Mind I don't think the crowd would have let you get to bed very ealry!! Could have listened and sung-along with a lot more songs. What can we say - first class performance again - just seems to get better and better! Love the new songs as well - can't wait to hear the next one - Here , There , Everywhere.
Den & Sue

Another fantastic performance from Brian and Phil at Cassop Vic,a memorable 50th birthday, thanks lads. All the Best Paul.

Hi, We initially saw the lads at the Spa Hotel 60's night in Saltburn and wondered where the other two beatles were! However when they started their set it was obvious the other two did not really matter. Saw them recently again at Victoria in Saltburn. Fantastic guitar work and absolutely credible vocals - our group were composed of oldy beatle die hards and youngster newby fanatics. Refreshing playlist - not the same old run of the mill beatle songs you usually get!!!! ie Norwegian Wood and Polythene Pam. Had us all up dancing (p.s - we were the dancers who were not totally wasted - eg. not elinor rigby lady!!). Will follow gig guide closely and look to more of the same in Whitby. Cheers!

Hi you two, we ( Gateshead Mags ) just want to say thanks for a fab night. We thought the back drop" thingy" was a great idea, a great night was had by all.
Luv Olwyn.&Co.

Hello guys, Cracking !!!! That's the best Beatles cover music I've ever heard !!!! Both your voices have more depth and color than John and Paul had. Sad that Youtube doesn't have more of your work. Make the world a better place and keep covering those great songs and put them on the net !!
Kindest and thankfull regards,
Gilbert.....from Belgium

Hello Lads. Just wanted to say that I have seen you quite a few times over the years, last time being the Corner House. Hope you dont mind my honesty, but your sound and style is much more suited to the 2 guitars and your voices. The percussion you just dont need. Hope I havent offended anyone and look forward to many more years of the Acoustic Beatles.
Regards Mark

Hi there! Just got home after your gig. It was a great night. I was hoping you'd do Golden Slumbers and wasn't disappointed. My partner, Chris, was disappointed that you didn't do Tomorrow Never Knows, but really enjoyed the set. Look forward to seeing/hearing you again.
Pam Armstrong

Hi there! Last night was brilliant! We have lots of tribute bands at Kirkbymoorside, but you were the best! We loved the live music, the singing and the atmosphere. Hope to see you there again, next time to a fuller audience. Thank you.
Lorrie & Colin Westwood

Went to see Acoustic Beatles last night at Billingham Town FC and they were excellent. As well as singing their hearts out they also had a great banter with the audiance. Can't wait for the next time they are in Billingham.
Linda

thanks lads for a great gig and a great night, hope to see you all again soon. favourite song eleanor rigby was fantastic x
Michael King

Saw you at Daisy Hill at Sacriston on Friday - fantastic all-round performance, hope you return here sometime!
Bernadette Brown

Thanks lads for a great gig at the Poacher's Cottage, Callerton, last night. Your interpretation of The Beatles songs is the best I've ever heard. Awesome acoustic guitars and two singing voices harmonizing perfectly. JL would have loved it. The young lad on percussion complemented you perfectly. The lad on the harp did a canny job too. Looking forward to seeing you again. I'm sure you'll be a regular at the Poacher's.
Best wishes,
Jeff and Von

Just had to drop a line to say how much we enjoyed the gig at the Maltings, South Shields, on Saturday 14th November. Thanks for a great night! Absolutely fantastic, as always! Hope it's not too long before we see there you again. Till then I guess it's the Harbour Lights next.
Ron & Pamela Ashurst

Great gig at the Dog last night men. shame we didn't get a bigger crowd but those lucky enough to be be there didn't have a bad word to say and are already looking forward to the next time.
Cheers

Just wanted to say thanks for a brilliant night at Swarland Golf Club (sat 17th Oct '09) - it really was fantastic. This is the second time we have heard you play, and hopefully it won't be the last. We will start hounding Mel now to get the booking made!!
Take care, and thanks again.
Veronica & Rob Forster
Hi guys! Was at your gig at the Barley Mow,Birtley on the 26th of Sep(last Sat),I was the guy in the Beatles"White Album" t-shirt you liked! Just wanted to say what a brillant gig it was,and to thank you for 2hrs of great entertainment. All of the versions were good, but I thought Eleanor Rigby, and The Long and Winding Road, aswell as Norwegian Wood, were particually good, and to add in b sides, and album tracks, that are rarely played by some was original.(Hats off for playin some of the Abbey Road medley, can we have all of it next time though?) Anyway, all in all,a great gig, hope to catch you again soon, all the best, top guys!
David Tidiman

I turned up at The Arts center thinking it was Buskers night, but it was a Beatles Tribute night, The Acoustic Beatles were the main act for the night and played for at least an hour, I did get to play that night on the main stage, I did A Day In The Life and Being For The Benefit of Mr Kite. The Acoustic Beatles were the most enjoyable tribute band I have seen and I have seen a lot, what makes them stand out from the rest is their spot on harmony work its just so strong and perfect, nice song choice as well, something for everyone, full marks for Terry Gorman's control of the sound desk the sound was excellent all night. The conclusion, great night, great venue, great band.
Ian Swinburne.

I would just like to say on behalf of my husband and four friends we had a fantastic night on Saturday being entertained by you at the Washington Arms pub in Washington Tyne and Wear, I thought you sang our request very well. My friends..... BW this year was an amazing example of fine music, great times, love of friendship and respect for The Beatles. BeatlesandBeyond this week celebrates your work, either from my live recordings or recorded CDs/DVDs which were kindly donated by you. The show has now been sent to the 4 stations playing B&B, and the first will play it from Texas on Saturday night local time. The UK stations will be playing on Sunday, and twice on Wednesday. Please refer to the 'welcome' page on www.beatlesandbeyond.com for more details. This show is in fact Part 1. Part 2 will follow in 3 weeks time. I'm on holiday, so have asked all stations to repeat the show the following week. Please tell your friends and family! Should you wish to mention BeatlesandBeyond Radio during any Press, publication details or performances, please do so. Once again, thanks for your friendship. It means a lot. Here's to next year! Regards Pete Dicks

I saw The Acoustic Beatles at The Acoustic Festival of Britain. Their harmonies were so good I thought they must be brothers. They really lifted everybody's spirits on a miserable wet day.

Washington football club Saturday. Had a great night despite the surroundings and because they played so many favourites it felt like they were playing "just for us". They left the stage to a standing ovation which was a fitting end to a memorable night.

Brian & Phil played at the Wheatsheaf Benton Square and went down a storm. I can safely say that they are the best singers/musicians we have had here. My customers are delighted that I have rebooked them twice in 2008!
Bill Close <bentonwheatsheaf@yahoo.co.uk>

I first saw The Acoustic Beatles at Sandy Bay Holiday Camp and was bowled over by Brian and Phil's vocals and the overall authentic sound and show they created. I was so impressed I took my wife to the next gig in a small pub in Whitby. Sarah is neither a sixties nor 'acoustic guitar' fan but she really liked them - so much so that when I played at a pub in Liverpool she sneaked out to watch the Acoustic Beatles who were playing next door! I never got a look in ... and had no choice but to book them for our thirtieth wedding anniversary in September 2007. What a great night ... and we are all still talking about The Acoustic Beatles! The atmosphere they create at a gig truly captures the Beatles nostalgia and you can't help but sing along with them. Fantastic - keep up the good work! Derek and Sarah

Luckily we stumbled across these guys playing a couple of gigs in Tenerife. My friend has a saying, ‘There are more air guitarists out there than real guitarists’. Well I can assure you these guys play live acoustic guitar that really resembles the feel of the time. I bought an album of theirs which is well worth a listen! Thanks for a great performance guys, it added a lot to our holiday.

Be prepared for a real treat. The Acoustic Beatles are consummate musicians who sound and feel like they've been playing together for years! They are not The Beatles, but they are only two, not four! Take it from one who saw the Fab Four live back in 1964, they are good. Very good. They are musically tight, produce beautiful harmonies and have that extra something which transports you right to the heart of the fabulous music of the Beatles. Go and hear them. Janet Smith, Dublin.
